I recently bought this machine. I've strung 3 racquets so far. Very easy to use and calibrate. You won't have to worry about damaging the racquet at 12 O'clock pressure point with this thing. It's a great machine.
My primary concern were the mount points at the head and the throat. I didn't want the single post style. I had an Eagnas machine before. It was cheaper than the Prince but I damaged a couple of my Armotec 700 using it so I sold the darn thing. I want to make sure I get a better machine this time. Stringing my own racquets is now fun again.
Do you not find the glide bar system to be a problem when clamping the outermost mains? They aren't parallel to the long axis of the head, so I imagine glide bar clamps would twist them slightly. Ironically, Prince fan-pattern rackets (squash, mostly) will run into real problems on this system. If you're string badminton rackets only, though, you'll be fine - there aren't many daft patterns for us.
Fo far I have not enounter any problem with the glide bar clamps while stringing the outer mains. I have not strung any other racquet yet so I can't comment about the machine but I'll keep your comment in mind.
Hey!! I bought the same thing.. boy it was quite an expensive stringer, but I must say I am PLEASED with the results. I didn't even have to recalibrate it- I tested it out and it was dead on correct. I really recommend this for people who want a reliable stringer.

The Neo 1000 is a nice machine. You can upgrade it with the WISE electronic tension head later. If you want to string uber high tension with the 2PTD method, make sure to temporarily string the cross from the lower-middle portion of the frame. You need two starting clamps and three extra Yonex flying clamps for this purpose. Afterward, start from the top as usual. This method should reduce the amount of distortion without the external shoulder supports. I find that distortion still occurs with six-point suspension mounting. At 33 lbs main X 36.3 lbs cross & 2PTD method, the top portion of the frame is slightly narrowed and the lower portion is slightly rounded. That's why I decided to temporarily tension the middle portion of the frame first when I start the cross.

The Price Neo 1000 is a very reliable machine. The local store over here has been using it for about 10 years or more now and it works very well.
whoa, so do you own a shop or something? I use this machine to string my badminton racquets (24-26 lbs) & my tennis racquets (55-62 lbs)
