I was wondering if there's any social badminton clubs in sibu I can join at the end of the year for 2 months or so. I don't have any friends in sibu, and my relatives doesn't play badminton, so I can't really gather up 3 other guys and book a court and play. I'm a D+ grade player, not that great, so yeah, if you know any social badminton clubs in sibu, please recommend them to me :)

    I'm anti-social.

    lol not really.

I'm not from sibu. My parents are, and sometimes, my parents go back to sibu to spend time with my grandparents at the end of the year, so instead of going back to miri, i'll have to go back to sibu sometimes :D

Oh by the way, where do you guys play? I went to the courts on top of thompson's corner (not sure what's it called now, it's opposite the sacred heart church at tong sang road) once and the floor was heaps crap. Never been to any other courts in sibu though :p

Hey guys! I was from Sibu, and am not in Singapore. I mean... haha.... my story's a weird one.

I was born in Singapore, and grew up in Sibu, as my dad's from Sibu. And after completing my UPRS, I've been staying in Singapore. I"m 24 this year, and yeah, you can say that my badminton skills are trained in Sibu.

Just a history of myself, i was from SRK Taman Rajang, went on to represent Sibu Bandar, and later on represented Sibu (yes, there's a differences, while representing Sibu Bandar, we actually played with teams like Kapit..) and lost heavily to Kuching. Damn! They are just too good. We came in 2nd in the 省际 tournie and didnj't get a chance to represent Sarawak. Haha, imagine a Singaporean representing Sarawak!

Anyways, that was like 12 years ago la..... so ya, I'll be going back during CNY... anyone playing then? :)
