i wanna find BG 66 strings imported by from JAPAN! ( Red Colour Packing ) please email to me let me know if u got it! loongloong_19@yahoo.com
You can buy them at shuttle-house. I might buy some BG66S and compare it with NBG98 since their specs are very similar.
Personally, I feel the string does not required much "run-in" period as compared to some strings, you need time to get use to it. It is more flexible, reponsive to your play and it control the birdie better.
Whats the difference between the BG66Sharp and the normal BG66? The original BG66 is thinner right? Hows the price comparation?
Hm...isn't BG66 0.02mm thinner than the BG66S which means it should be more powerful than a 0.68mm string like the BG66S?
haha.. it's like 1/3 the price for me.. compared to the strings here in NZ. I just buy all my strings from Japan.. 12NZD per pack of string.. and rip my friends off and sell the strings for 25$ per pack. I make lots of profit, and they still save money by not buying the strings in NZ hehe......
Lol.. here in Nz, it's 30NZD for BG65 and the stringing job. That's what, 65RM or so..? Well about 31-32SGD.. In Japan, the stringing is 1000yen at most shops and the strings are about 1100yen. So put that together and it's.. about 23NZD. I wish that the stringing fees are cheaper in NZ.. I can't complain about the prices in Japan, because the one I've decided to always go to ( shuttle-house ) is like.. superb.
tension what sort of tension can BG66 take? not to tight cos it will break quicker i think. average lifespan is what i mean. is around 22 the best for both performance and lasting?
LCW strings his AT900P at 30lbs-BG66 We cannot tell you the average lifespan of the string because many factors can affect the lifespan of a string. Factors such as slicing, smashing, playing more frequently etc. can minimize the lifespan of your string. Try BG66 at 21lbs x 23lbs first and then slowly increase your tension until you find your ideal tension.
