Hey guys, i'm new to this forum thing so yeah, forgive me if i make mistakes. Last week I had a strained wrist but I played on with it, so finally on Friday, I sprained my wrist when i was performing a smash. This Friday, I have JV league finals, but my wrist is still hurting. Do you guys have any tips on what i should do to heal my wrist before Friday?

Doctor said it was a minor sprain.
Whenever I bend my hand downward, the middle of my wrist would hurt.

Thanks for hearing me out guys.

I'm no expert, but when I had a similar injury, my physiologist told me to do the heat-cold treatment as much as I could to make it heal faster. This consists in immerging your wrist in hot (not boiling, dhuh) water for a couple of minutes (2-5) and then immerging it in cold water (near zero celcius) for the same amount of time, repeating these two steps as much as possible. Make sure the hot water does not burn, but is close to, and make sure the water stays cold, so give it some ice from time to time.
    Hope this helps.

Try not to move your wrist as much as possible. Its also a good idea to wrap the wrist with a bandage. Not too tight though. :p

Make sure your arm doesn't go super numb when you do that because it leds to bad blood circulation.

Get some fresh Ginger--smashed it up & add with strong Whiskey 40% prove or above, rub on wrist and use taped and tissue to hold it together. You will feel the burning & heat for hr.....but it will heal fast!!!!! Old tradition ways that works....

Excellent tips, Superbird. Is this gonna work on a sprained ankle too? How about some effective pain reliever? Had a bad landing after attempting a super smash lol Am not gonna be able to play for now.
