Thick grip VS Thin grip
Can you guys explain me more the differences between a thicker and a thinner grip?
What better for smashing, control etc.

Thinner would make the head heavier,which would be good for smash.Thick is better for control.But don't go too thin or too thick,since u will lose the feeling.Just go with what u'd feel is the best.

I dont think the grip makes that much of a difference unless you have a super thin one, or have multiple layers of overgrip to change the blanace points. For the most part the grip has no effect and it is what type of racket you have that determines power or control.

Thinner = more maneuverability
thicker = less meneuverablility.
I prefer a size that I feel comfortable to play with. Not too thin, nor thick. G5 with one layer of overgrip over the original grip or G4 with two layers of overgrip for me..

I like using thicker grips. It's more comfortable, feels better, gives me better control & helps balance my racquet!
but in terms of maneuverability. a thinner grip is better.
