    Very rare

I believe that was during the Japan Open 2002 (we can see it from their uniform)

Trikus Haryanto/Chan Chong Ming vs Chew Choon Eng/Halim Heryanto..:D

It was an exhibition match to replace the men's doubles final (Chew/Chan won by default) in order to not disappoint the crowd. It was supposed to be an all-Malaysian final (against Choong/Lee). However one of them was was injured so Trikus/Halim stepped in and then they swapped partners. That is what I recall. :)

What a gesture :). You think any of the pampered "pros" these days would be generous enough to offer? They obviously don't think about the paying public.

i doubt we know all that's going on behind the scenes, only the rumors. But i would be that most out there would be kind enough to do so if asked. :p;)
