    Hi,

Read regarding different brand, made, different material, different speed, model etc

    This is confusing?
Is there a governing body for badminton shuttlecock?
Why can't there be a international standard?

    so say,
Competition (internation) what shuttlecock should be used?

    so Club
    what shuttlecock should be used?

    Beginners & juniors
    what shuttlecock should be used?

    Garden
    external play around
    what shuttlecock should be used?

What is the different between a 370 & 300 yonex shuttlecock?

The Laws of Badminton calls out some specs for both feather and synthetic shuttles (refer to Laws 2.1 thru 2.4). Details for feather shuttles are covered in Law 2.2 while Law 2.3 lists details for synthetic shuttles. Testing shuttle speed for a match is covered by Law 3.

The international governing body, the BWF, does maintain an official list of approved equipment. A list of BWF-approved feather shuttles for international play can be found here.
