    A badminton equipment designer friend of mine just gave me 50 sets of experimental string for evaluation. Being a newbie here, I was wondering if it is ok for me to ask for volunteers from this forum to test the string.

    Moderators please delete this thread if it violates forum rules. Thanks

    The Nice Gentle one is highly favorable with anything badminton related, to catch one, you must first bait the area with lots of badminton related tools, like strings, rackets, birdies, he will then quickly break/devour anything in sight. You must then throw a cage and trap him inside, but beware, the NGP is strong, some might say, Frankenstein strong, but once you catch one, it will prove most useful as the NGP is well versed in all that is badminton. Unfortunately, the NGP is on the extinct list because there is only 1 left in the world. SO be quick and careful.

    I just had my racquet strung with these strings. I had a few hits with a friend of mine with it. Wow, it is impressive. The most repulsive string I've tried so far.

    Some background info:
    Racquet : AT700 3UG4 JP
    Strings: Blue <prototype strings>, 0.66mm.

    Tension: 26*28.5lbs, two-piece stringing.

    This is just an initial review.

    Comparing these strings with others I've tried ( most repulsive -> least repulsive ):
    prototype strings -> PG66N -> BG80 -> BG65P -> NBG95 -> Ashaway MicroPower XL -> bg65

    Comparison of feel:
    PG66N -> Prototype strings -> bg80 -> bg65p -> micropower xl -> nbg95 -> bg65

    I can not give a comparison of the control yet, because I was not in proper badminton-attire and therefore I was only able to do clears, smashes and drops today.

    Comparison of grip/texture:
    PG66N -> BG80 -> Prototype strings -> Bg65p -> bg65 -> micropower xl -> nbg95

    I can not give any reviews on the tension holding properties nor the durability because i haven't had enough time with these things yet.

    Stringing ease ?:
    I was watching and talking to the stringer as he strung my racquet. I asked him whether it's easy to string my racquet with this string, and he said it was just normal ( like bg65 ? ).

    I will give a more detailed review soon when I have more time. I am on a BYE tommorow for the inter-school tournament so I won't be playing.

    Thanks for the strings, I am really impressed by it so far.

    I would like to try out the strings, if the owner of this prototype string can pass me a few. I do my own stringing.

    Does this prototype string have more repulsion power than NBG98?

    I have a pack of nbg98, so I could possibly get my at700 restrung with nbg98 at the same tension, then get it strung again with the prototype strings to get a good comparison.

    I suggest, u string both strings on 2 same rackets then you can compare it side by side. That would be better.

    The problem is, I have three totally different racquets. 1x Cab8 SP, 1x MP40 JP, 1x AT700 JP. I can't get a decent comparison even if I string any two racquets with the same string tension.
    However, I'm getting a friend of mine to help me out with the testing. I gave her the strings already, so I can't do anything but wait for her responses and review on the strings. She gets her racquets strung at 26-27lbs usually.
