    Hi guys,

I've got a Carbonex 8 and 23 here, while both strings are broken ... I'm planning to restring Carbonex 8 with Yonex BG65 and BG85 for Carbonex 23 ... but I'm not sure how many pounds should I ask the uncle to restring for me ... thanx in advance :)

    mOey,

from the fact that you asking this question, i am guess you are playing at the beginner/intermediate level.

for most people playing at this level, tension of 20-22 lbs seems to be the norm. you will want to string tighter as your technique gets better. but right now, you shouldn't focus on the tension but instead the technique.

good choice on the string though, i like the bg85 as well.

    hope that helps.

Erhmm ... forgot to mention that I was using BG66 (20lbs) for my Carbonex 23 before ...

I dunno which level I'm in, I like smashing ... as for the drop shot, I'm okie with that but not very good compare with good players ...

    thanks for ur reply, kwun
