hi, my dad wants to sign me up for the summer camp at mandarin and i want to know if you actually learn anything there or is it just like drop-in badminton? i may sign up for 4 weeks and i want to know if its actually worth the money. im a beginner (i think) so would the camp help me improve? and if i sign up for the 2 beginner camps, would they be teaching me the same things? thanks.

yes they do, but beginner is very basic, like, smash, clear, and underhand serve, and lots and lots of footwork drills. mostly just drilling. you'll do like 40 min of footwork and running, then foot work drills, t hen maybe some playing.

Go there asking for a try-out then they'll place you in a suitable class, or go there to take a look when the class is on.
