    i dont think so, LD was at 329 while the world's record is at 332 if i'm not mistaken.

    wow singles 329?! isn't that a new singles record then? i believe taufik's singles record was still 312 or something right? can someone confirm singles record?

    i was told that it was in fact 235km/h instead of 335km/h which would've passed FHF's 332km/h.

    It may be sliced. 235km/h is common for LCW. It's a little bit slow for LD though. But on the other hand, most of LD's smashes (even seemingly full power ones) are around 280 - 290, still pretty far from 332. :cool:

    just to clarify. If Lin Dan did hit a smash of 329kmh then this would be a record for fastest smash for a singles player, but not the fastest smash overall, which would still be Fu at 332kmh.

    Lindan didnt have any smashes more than 300 kmh in the final against Park.

    yet, we need confirmation from IBF for this?
    or, we assume or take granted that this is the new record?

    I noticed JungJS (LeeYonDe's partner) and ZhengZB also have very powerful smashes even in the rubber game :eek: ZZB broke one of his rackets during the match against KOR MD2...
