Time for a new Racquet
Hello All,
I'm new here so please bear with me.
It's time for a new racquet, I currently have a MP-100 and a MP-99. I much prefer the MP-100, I find it faster and allows more control. It's pretty beat up though, thus the new racquet.
I've been reading through a lot of the forum, and I'm more confused than ever on what to choose. So I'm looking for some recommendations.
I want a racquet that is similar to the MP-100, fast, good control yet still powerful...
Thank you and I look forward to learning more from everyone here.

First off, lets start off with some background info.
If you want a racquet:
1. How often do you play, how serious are you?
2. What style of player are you? (Aggressive smasher, net player ...)
3. Do you care much about durability or is it all about performance?
4. How much money do you want to spend?
Answering these well help fellow BC members decide what is suitable for you. =P

mp100 is an excellent racket, u have 2U or 3U?
NS8000 and 9000X might come closest to mp100Last edited by cooler; 05-21-2008 at 04:38 PM.

Let's see I'll answer these qustions as best as I can.
The last couple of years my play has been very casual, but I'm looking to ramp it up this coming season. Hopefully to a couple of times per week.
I mostly play doubles, and I generally play front. Aggressive and lots of net work.
I'd like a racquet that's durable but I'm also looking for performance, I'll willing to sacrifice a little of both to get something "reasonable".
Cost isn't too much of a concern. The racquets I've been looking at are in the $175-200 range online, more than that and it would have to be something amazing.
Hope that helps.

thanks, i guess im not getting the MP 100 then.
To the TO, the Armortec 900T isn't bad if you want power and control. However it is a head heavy racket, and the mp 100 is even balanced
