backhand grip/tech

    i was wondering how the backhand grip should properly look like because i tried a different way of holding it for backhand but i dont think it cant produce alot of power.. and can someone find me a guide to backhand clears/smashes ty

    The grip you use for backhands must be adjusted depending on the situation:
    • The thumb grip is used for many backhand shots in front of your body, especially at the net.
    • The basic grip is used for some backhands at the side of your body, although often the bevel grip may be used instead.
    • The bevel grip is used for backhands in all parts of the court, but especially for backhand overheads (such as clears).
    • The panhandle grip is used for late backhand overheads, and also for hairpin net shots.
    That's just a summary, however. There are many nuances of grips.

    backhand grip

    and also rememeber not to grip the racket too had , becos it will kill the power of contact.
