i was wondering how the backhand grip should properly look like because i tried a different way of holding it for backhand but i dont think it cant produce alot of power.. and can someone find me a guide to backhand clears/smashes ty
The grip you use for backhands must be adjusted depending on the situation: The thumb grip is used for many backhand shots in front of your body, especially at the net. The basic grip is used for some backhands at the side of your body, although often the bevel grip may be used instead. The bevel grip is used for backhands in all parts of the court, but especially for backhand overheads (such as clears). The panhandle grip is used for late backhand overheads, and also for hairpin net shots. That's just a summary, however. There are many nuances of grips.
backhand grip and also rememeber not to grip the racket too had , becos it will kill the power of contact.
