Does anyone have this pair? I like the Asics Gel Blade better but they don't have it in US, it cost like $150 total to ship them from the UK. However, the Gel Rocket 4 is only $60 bucks, and they weigh like 10 oz. very light. Wondering if any of you ever try them on yet, it's very tempting.

Blah, almost got my ankle sprained twice today, was kinda scary. Been playing with my Diesel :D extremely light shoes. So I decided to buy the Asics Rocket 4, can't wait for the Gel Blade, probably wait until next year for it. I'll post an update for it once I have it.

:( got my Asics rocket 4.

1/ Gotta go up half a size for sure. Lucky me I did that.
2/ Very bad arch support (for me at least), put it on, run around the court, play for 30 mins, and my feet hurt like hell. Probably need to use it more often?
3/ Great grip, I definitely can get around the court much easier now without slipping :D
4/ Look ok and.....different lol, pretty much every one use Yonex, I stand out for sure.
5/ $59 bucks out the pocket, not too bad

Last comment, overall I think it a great shoes but it might be not the ideal one for you, (for me at least), better try them on first before buying it, it bought it just out of the blue lol.

I picked up a pair monday night and gave them a go... coming from playing with basketball shoes before definately a big improvement... i like the cushioning that it gives feels light... and no worries about turned ankles like i did wearing nike cross trainers about a month ago.

    US Rocket 4 = AU Rocket 2?

    Hi guys,

Can anyone tell me if the numbering for the Rocket models is country specific??

The official Australian ASICS website shows what I thought is the Rocket 4 as the Rocket 2. Can anyone confirm???
