Hello Everyone! Looks like it was a FUN Memorial weekend for many! Hope you have all recuperated! We just looked into our US Adult National Photo archives and wanted to share some back stage FUN too. We had our annual "Birdie TOSS" which has become a GGBC tradition now in all our tournaments which the players will hit out the birdie to the audience after their FINALS game and some lucky catcher will get it and win a GREAT PRIZE from Yonex or our other sponsors. It's Hilarious when they GO FOR IT! We did a play by play of the photos and maybe you will see someone you recognise from our GG Coaching Best and famous Californian Women's SUPER GIRL! Sorry Kwun! Oh Sorry Kwun.. I know you shot the photos of the games, but I thought you might have shot some of the photos we put on here as well. I see on the BBC tournament photos that your photos have badmintoncentral.com written on them, but ours don't have that. Do you put the label on yourself or should we do that to the photos that you kindly shoot and lend to us as well? Let us know! Sally
Waiting to GRAB! Yes, it's tons of good fun and it's great for both the players and the audience. Actually... in most of the NBA or court games now, they shoot the T-shirts with those big T-shirt guns. I've been hitting tennis balls and now badminton birdies in my concerts since the 80's, so Mike said it would be fun to do it in our GG badminton tournaments as well!
