Recently my old racket broke and im searching for a new one. I have come to a final 6 rackets in my price range. Can you guys help me review these rackets and help me decide on the best one. I'm gonna get bg80 string and i need help on string tension also. im into power more than control but a balance of each is good also. thanks

Have you tried considering apacs and sotx rackets?

I've tried my beginner friend's At-150. This thing is really head heavy. Probably more so than the At-700. When they say At-700 is the most head-heaviest racket in Yonex line, I don't think they factored in the low end ones. The handle feels extremely hollow. So I think Yonex tried to make a head heavy racket, but light overall. It can be a decent racket if you know how to use it.

Hollow? Yes, you are absolutely right.
I pulled out the ballast out of my at700, mp40, ns7700 and ns9k. The more head-heavy the racquet is, the hollower the handle was.......

I guess your pocket is around 100 bucks. Apacs are around 80 bucks but then you have to pay shipping from Canada so it would be around 100 bucks. AMP series is what you want http://www.apacscanada.com or the SOTX at http://www.ibuysports.com/ or better yet :D search the forum for Sir Dinkalot or Coach Don they are in Orange County area they might have some thing for you at a good price.

I dont think that the at-150 is more "head heavy" than the at-700, I think the whole thing is just REALLY heavy. It does NOT feel like a 3U.
