By 2020 the order will be :
    1. China
    2. USA
    3. Japan
    4. India
    5. Russia
Th sphere of influence is shifting back to the East, after a very long absence of almost 200 years.

What is the ranking based on? I'm not sure about USA. I predict it will drop out of the top 5.

A more comprehensive comparison may be more meaning, such as GDP/capita . . . etc.

I know this is only the chit chat column, but pleae provide references for all your statements (even if it is yourself). otherwise the chit chat forum will become more and more meaningless.

Also I tihnk you should say "it is predicted that in 2020 it will be" unless you have already been to 2020 to find out:D:D

Such information has been around in financial papers. If you want more details you can search under "World's largest economies".

To reflect the changing of the guard, the UN's 5 permanent Security Council seats should be changed to the above. France and England will have to step down. World economy must be in sync with world power to have real peace.

Unforutnately not - If you make a statement you need to say who has quoted it. otherwise we could be accused of making the stories ourselves and taking credit for them. Credit where credit is due.

I really don't see the point in this thread and the tangent you have taken it is even more confusing.
