thanks. I am asking my friend to check this oout.
I still like Yang-Yang the best though, good money for value. They don't seem to see Y-Y here. Only in Johor though.
Otherwise, so many organisers here can gang up and buy yonnesx in bulk discount from Sunrise, distributor for Yonnex cocks in Singapore.......

Surprisingly, AS-40 is only around SGD$24 per tube retail in Hong Kong.

BTW, there is a lot of difference in quality between A4 and A5 yonnex.
A4 is so heavy and cant last.
A5 is selling now more than SGD40 per tube. There is a discount 15% (> 6 tubes) going on at Sunrise for Shuttlecocks but still expenseive.

We are using AS-40. It lasts longer than AS-50. It cost us $33.50 per tube and heard they are going to increase it again to $35-$36.

We are also looking for the possibility to import those shuttles from either Hong Kong & Taiwan, but have not found the source yet. Lawfully, they are legal, as long as we purchase them from retail even though Sunrise is the exclusive distributor.

The other ones are PT10, Sintec i guess. At around $26?
In case you are getting from Hkg, better double check on the quality though. In case it's a substandard quality. No harm trying out a few first. Some people got burnt by buying volume. I think its Victor brand if I'm not mistaken. He is sure a very angry person.

There are reasons why people still use feather shuttles even though plastic shuttles have been around for a while.

I'm David. New user of this badmintoncentral. Twister might be still angry with me, as I used his JW thread to get good players.

Sorry ya again, Mr. Twister. :) I thought your thread was not used, as no new post for quite long time.

Personally think Yonex is too expensive and not really lasting. Seems one good game needs 2 shuttles. Bad experience with Yonex. Maybe what I bought were not good batches. My Malaysian friend recently helped buy RCL from Malaysia, RM46, less than $20. I think it is pretty wothy of the money. One shuttle can last for one game or more.

Shuttle usage depends on how you hit the shuttle. On average for advance player will be 3-4; for hard hitting ones. For intermediate-advance, shd be less. If you get those people who do a lot of slicing.... there goes your cock..

For intermedia-low advance level, I guess there's no need to have expensive shuttles.

So basically there's statistics for a night game as to how many shuttles being used in general.

It's also good to check with BC'ers in HKG or Taiwan on the prices and reliability. If the price is good, I may want to get some as well. Local shuttles here is just too expensive. Good margin for them to monopoly.

    Yes. Agree with your points.

If you can get good quality shuttle with average price, I also want to have some. I know a few teams at Toa PY, Kahtib, Yishun, woodlands and Chchk. They surely will be happy to buy.
