    .
    Greetings,

Came back from playing Badminton and found exciting some reports of events from Day 2.

And I only scored 8 out of my 15 predictions in the Mens Singles.:eek::eek:

Round 2 will be played on DAY 3, Thursday 12-Jun-2008.

For the Womens Singles, we have the following matches:

    (1) 2:40pm : Hongyan PI [1] (FRA) vs Firdasari ADRIANTI (INA)
    (2) 3:05pm : Chen WANG [3] (HKG) vs Pia Zebadiah BERNADET (INA)
    (3) 3:20pm : Anna RICE (CAN) vs Tine RASMUSSEN [2] (DEN)
    (4) 3:40pm : Juan GU (SIN) vs Saina NEHWAL (IND)
    (5) 4:00pm : Mi ZHOU [5] (HKG) vs Petya NEDELCHEVA (BUL)
    (6) 4:20pm : Hye Youn HWANG (KOR) vs Soo Young JANG (KOR)
    (7) 7:00pm : Aiying XING (SIN) vs Tracey HALLAM [7] (ENG)
    (8) 8:05pm : Lin WANG (CHN) vs Mew Choo WONG [4] (MAS)

Again, I will attempt to make my predictions (highlighted) to see how many (out of the 8) I could score. :p:p:p

    Cheers... chris@ccc

SO 2008: Simon SANTOSO [6] (INA) has made it into Round 2

    .
For Day 2, I don't know how I could have missed out listing the match scheduled at 4:45pm, the match between Simon SANTOSO [6] (INA) and Scott EVANS (IRL):confused::confused:

If I had not missed listing it, I would have scored another winner.:eek::eek:

KlasseE ... From what I have heard... Currently, Ronald SUSILO (SIN) and Yu CHEN [7] (CHN) have better fitness. And for that reason I have picked them to win.

    chris,
from what you have heard only 50% is correct :D
do you still think yu chen will win over nguyen in the evening???:D:D:D

Rian & Yonathan are unlikely to get past Latif & Tazari.

Yesterday, the Indonesians struggled against the Danish veterans.
Today, beating the Malaysians will require more than just a struggle

KlasseE ... I will predict Tien Minh NGUYEN, Vietnam's rising Star, to win again, although Chen Yu is seeded No.7.

SO 2008: Pia has done very well on Day 1 & 2

    .
    My reasons:

Pia is getting too tired after some tough matches on Day 1 & 2.:eek::eek: Many, including myself, are happy that she has so done well thus far.

And for Firda, she still has a 46% chance to beat the No.1 seed.

    :):):)

I support for Pia and Firda too, but Pi HongYang and Wang Chen are fully charged since they didn't go to last TUC.

SO 2008: Nova WIDIANTO/Liliyana NATSIR playing so well so far

    .
    Talking about INA players...

Nova WIDIANTO/Liliyana NATSIR have, with no problems, just beaten the Korean pair of Yi Goo KWON/Jung Eun HA 21-12, 21-15 in just 21 minutes.

Firda gained another 2 points to lead 18-15.
INA ladies always have a tough time to close their match.
