Hi I've been thinking about buying either the ArcSaber 10 or the Armortec 900 Technique. So here are the Q's & A's:

    1. How often do you play, how serious are you?
7 days a week in sessions of either 2-3 hours. I'm dead serious about badminton and wish to become a pro.
    2. What style of player are you? (Aggressive smasher, net player ...)
All around but I prefer and am best at the net.
    3. Do you care much about durability or is it all about performance?
Performance over durability though I do like them both together.
    4. How much money do you want to spend?
I'm prepared to spend up to $400 Canadian.

Judging by your description and options, I think the 900T sounds better. $400 u big spender hahaha, thatll get almost any playable racket that exist

Thanks for your suggestion and I'm willing to spend up to $400 though it would be nice to have $100 or so left over.

seems that most new yonex racquets are super fragile anyways. i don't think durability will be a deciding factor between those two racquets. since you're a net player i'd say you should go to the AT 900T. youre more than likely to have more money leftover as well.

Having both these racquets, I feel the AT900T is a very manuverable and powerful racquet and took very little time to adjust to. The Arc10 on the otherhand, I've yet to find its true potential.

With $400, you could easily get both with ~$50 to spare if you know where to shop ;)

which city do u live in?

If ur in Vancouver or Toronto you can easily meet Matt or some other forums member who could let you try both. Then deciding which one you want, with 400$... you can easily get 2 of the same kind + strings + shoes ^^

Thanks for the offer but I already told my coach I'd buy one from him (he's a family friend) so I'll have to turn down your offer. Thanks anyways though.

get the 900T, The ARC 10 vibrates too much, i played with them both today, it feels really weird, and it doesnt feel very stable, i like the solid feel of my AT 900T better

Is the ArcSaber 10 fragile on comparison to the Armortec 900 Technique?

i dont think so, its not like the frame felt any weaker (although i didnt try whacking them together). From what I've heard, both rackets will break, but the Arcsaber has a very stable frame. More stable than the Armortec 700. I hope that gives u an idea.

    Andrew,

You probably have not gotten used to the Arc10 because I also use it once a while and I don't have the vibration issues which is being described.

I'd love to but can't since I often get my racket restrung (once every 2 weeks) it's good to keep the pocket as full as possible.
