    Men's Singles
Lee Tsuen Seng vs Simon Santoso [8] -- another Final spot awaits Simon if he can beat the KLRC player and either Kenichi Tago or Jan O' Jorgensen. That will represent Simon's best outings in 2 consecutive SS so far.

Ronald Susilo vs Sony Dwi Kuncoro [4] -- a tricky match for Sony and he was fortunate enough to beat Joachim Persson today. Coupled with the fact that Ronald has also beaten him a number of times last year makes this match an interesting one to watch. Sony still has the edge.

    Women's Singles
Zhou Mi [7] vs Maria Kristin Yulianti -- well done Maria for the victory against Yao Jie today, however, Zhou Mi should prove a hurdle too much for her to handle.

    Men's Doubles
Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan [1] vs Tony Gunawan/Candra Wijaya [5] -- the 3rd meetings this year between this 2 pairs and I hope the end result will be similar. The World Champion to win!

Mohd Fairuzizuan Mohd Tazari/Mohd Zakry Abdul Latif [8] vs Bona Septano/Mohd Ahsan -- Bona/Ahsan have nothing to lose against the in-form Fuzzy and it should be a thrilling encounter.

    Women's Doubles
Wei Yili/Zhang Yawen [1] vs Jo Novita/Greysia Polii [7] -- it will be a great achievement if Jo/Grace were to topple the Chinese pair!

Vita Marissa/Liliyana Natsir [4] vs Wong Pei Tty/Chin Ee Hui [5] -- Vita/Butet should beat the MAS pair, although it can go to a rubber-set.

Ha Jung Eun/Kim Min Jung vs Meiliana Jauhari/Shendy Puspa Irawati -- the surprise result of the day was Mel/Shendy beating the second-seeded Ogura/Shiota. If they can play like today, they might yet again beat the higher-ranked Korean pair. We shall see.

    Mixed Doubles
Nova Widianto/Liliyana Natsir [1] vs Yoo Yeon Seong/Kim Min Jung -- it was a relatively comfortable workout for the World Champions today. They should prove too experienced for the Korean pair.

Tadashi Ohtsuka/Satoko Suetsuna vs Flandy Limpele/Vita Marissa [3] -- the 3rd-seed was given a huge scare today by their juniors. I think they still have the edge against the Japanese pair.

Fran Kurniawan/Shendy Puspa Irawati vs Zheng Bo/Gao Ling [2] -- QF result for the Djarum XD pair represents their best result so far. They should just enjoy their match against the second-seed. Who knows, they might create an upset perhaps?

Zhou Mi should be tired after that monster game against Hwang today... and Zhou is not as fit as her younger self [when she was in China]... After 2 full tournaments in a row, her condition can deteriorate quite a bit... I saw a very sluggish Zhou being stretched left and right by Pia in Vietnam Challenge last year... Maria's matches this week were not as tasking...

...that's about all the edge Maria gets. Everything else such as experience, technique, etc. The edge goes to Zhou...

...and reaching the finals last week...and also the fact that she's close to 30. so hopefully maria will just edge ZM tomorrow and reach her first SS semi finals.

Does Vita have enough stamina today? After tight match yesterday, she must play 2 matches which time between those 2 just separate 2-3 hours

Generally, I agreed with u except:

It would not be easy for Simon to beat Lee Tsuen Seng but Simon will still probably prevail in two tight games or rubber games.

Sony has been struggling in form and I will not be surprised if Ronald upsets him.

Nova/Liliyana-Yoo/Kim match will be one of the potential upsets.

Generally, I would agree with you except Nova/Lilyana still towers over this Korean pair ......

Yup, no seeded players anymore at top-half draw. Simon must exploit this favourable condition, thanks to PG losing and LCW pulling out.

If Tsuen Seng had studied the video of LCW vs Simon, he might have learned a trick or two on how to overcome Simon. I think he has a chance - keep fingers crossed.
