Do you think the following team can beat China?

Single: Camilla Martin, Mia Audina, Kanako Yonekura
    Double: Ra/Lee, Harder/Schjoldager

I think China will still win by 3 - 2.

Didn't pick Yao Jie and Chen Wang because they were borned and trained in China.

    Qidong,

yes. i think the scoreline will be 3-2 in that case. there will be uncertainty in one of the doubles pairing, and perhaps 1 to 2 of the singles depending on the form of the player in that day.

on similar note. ZhangZW/WeiYL lost to an unnamed pair from Korea during the UC. Z/W were completely devastated, esp after a good scolding from LYB afterwards. Wei cried at the end. poor kids.

anyway, China is not complete invincible, but to have all of them being off form in the same day will be a tough thing to have.

I thought it was Zhang Jiewen who cried. Or did Wei cry too?
Anyhow, yep, they learned it the hard way.

Btw, Zhang JW's cool. and very friendly too. :)

so apparently they both did. ZhangZW in front of the reporters, and then WeiYL went home and cried all night.

poor kids. despite how tough they are on court, they are still young and human afterall.

Yes, I agree. I think Li Yong Bo is giving them too much pressure. They were beaten by a pair of world class players (even though little known), not an amateur like me (then they should commit suicide). Who knows the pair of Korean players could have the talent to be the next Ge Fi/Gu Jun in a few years. It was Li Yong Bo who took the opponents too lightly. Remember when the little known 15th seed Xia won the All England 2 years ago. Most of the highly seeded players should have cried, and now Xia is the #1 player in the world.
