Hi all, I've been a lurker here for a while. I played badminton competitively about 14 years ago and haven't picked up a racket since then. Recently I'm starting to get back into it, and surprisingly I can still hold my own with some decent players.

So.. my question is, how are the Carlton rackets? I'm looking at the Carlton Nano Power 9900 and the Nano Lite 9500, any of you guys have experiences with these? Are these comparable to top of the line Yonex rackets in terms of quality?

Also what is the best reputable online site to buy Carlton rackets for a good price? I am located in Sacramento, California, USA.

Any other racket recommendations would certainly be appreciated.

I am using the 9500 Nano lite and it is pretty good !

I strung it at 28lbs with Carlton AG63 (free string that came with the package). Because it is light and flexy, the defense is good and easy to move it around.

Because I am not a very strong player, I think a flexy racquet with high tension seems to be a good compromise. If I use a stiff racquet (ie Ti10) with high tension, my arm/shoulder will ache.

I think the 8600, 8800, 9500 amd 9900 are only availabe in asia. so maybe an importer or you have to buy from overseas.

I was going to buy a 9900 but the only I know didn;t have it. I ended up with a wilson klite instead. But I did have a 9500 in my hand, that seems pretty light and flexible as teoky mentioned
