my nanospeed 9k may be fake! help! lots of photos!
Help! i met with a guy from an internet deal today and bought a NANOSPEED 9000 X for 60$ CANADIAN. he says he bought it from china and tried it out and doesn't like it, so he wants to sell it. He says that he has compared it to a real nano 9k and says that the two are the same. Here are pictures of it. please tell me if it's real or not and why! THANKS x100000

The price also gives it away that it is a fake. Never buy rackets online from unknown sellers.

yeah i noticed that, but the rest of the racket seems authentic, does the number on the cap HAVE to present the manufacture date, could it be something else?

The paintjob isn't as good as the authentic version either. It's not smooth enough, and the letterings look too sharp and small too.

Fake.U should know it before u even get the racket...by what he said to u,that this racket "feel the same" as the genuine one. Also, the price is a real giveaway.Well..this should be a lesson. For others that's new to yonex rackets, please learn more by reading other ppl's posts. It's a bit shameful if u still got fooled by the fakes when u're already a BC member.Learn the tricks,or ways to determine genuine/fake rackets.

Hey, you can get brand new fake racquet at $50 in Toronto. I am trying to sell my one year old NS9K X, send me a PM if interested. Fake racquet has nothing similar to the authentic racquet, not even the paint job. Try to return the thing and get your money back.

"He says that he has compared it to a real nano 9k and says that the two are the same"
doesn't that sentence, by definition, imply that it's a fake?

Ppl always tends to think they hit the jackpot, when they get quoted for a deal of 30% of even less than of the original price from a un-verified source. The truth is, 99% you got ripped off, instead of a steal...
