In my opinion, Protech Masterpiece is one of the best shuttles I have ever used.

Too bad it is not sold in the shops in Australia.

Is that the best price in Singapore that you know of, even with purchase of 10 tubes in a roll?

i only ever bought 1 tube before, and it was terrible. feathers has already turned slightly yellowish and spots have appeared on the feathers. the cork was too fragile and the feathers split after a few hard shots. now i am using other alternatives.

there are a few. Usually i will use Aeroplane Black, but since supply has stopped, switch over to RSL Tourney #1. Price wise, it is much cheaper at $23 per tube, compared to EG1130 at $25~26 per tube. Masterpiece is about $26 per tube as well nowadays.
Recently I've tried Carlton AG 9.9, strong durable birdie with good flight consistency. Only problem is, it flies very fast. I got speed 77, and it is much faster than RSL speed 77.

Ya, my group is using Carlton AG 9.9 too... in terms of flight and durability...its superb..but its really too fast. I wonder is there 76 out there instead of 77? or is there a way to slow it down a little?

My kakis like to bend the tips of the feather. They said it will reduce the flight of the shuttles.

yah, that's right. you can bend about half centimetre if the tips of the feathers. It will slow down speedy shuttles just nice.
