If you are referring to the "guy" with the kid, that's Darryl Yung and his racquet wouldn't be SOTX but Forza as he's the official distributor for them in Canada. The kid might be using SOTX
Nice find Winex. I used to read the GS quite a bit but not much recently. Wanted to point out something I found amusing in the article: "Turner noted not only the Yungs’ success but also that of other indoor facilities, like Richmond Pro, whose 15 courts make it the largest such centre in North America, and Yumo (Chinese for shuttlecock), whose six Olympic-size courts were funded by a group of Lulu Islanders." Now tell me how does an Olympic size court differ from a regular one?
Badminton is the second most-played sport in the world next to soccer Is that true? O well... I play both
Yes that's definately true, Clement Chow seems to be using some sort of Babolat. I have never seen a D900 so I can't say.
Maybe, Olympic means that you have your change/wash rooms separate your courts . Given that Turner is the Executive Director of Badminton BC, you would think that he would know better. The only thing that I could think of is the space separation between courts but Yumo definitely do not have that much space separation between their courts unless they count the space between the front and rear set of courts.
“Claire Backhouse-Sharpe is arguably the best player ever produced in Canada,” he said, in reference to the two-time world champion and 1997 B.C. Sports Hall of Fame inductee. “ I was not aware about this! 2 time badminton world champion?
