Yeah, to a certain extent. But depending on what level a student intends to achieve, between a self taught or proclaimed guru and a professional one will
definitely produce different results.
Moreover, the fundamentals of the game is very important. Once learned wrongly, it will take a long to time if not impossible to correct. Will a self proclaimed guru guarantees that. For that matter, a coach has to at least been through and done that in professional and competative Badminton if not a champion at any level.
In response to the advertisement above, I would say: for one the fee is not cheap and secondly he should at least states his credentials to prove his worthiness. Otherwise, I don't think anyone will enroll.

In addition, my friend had trained for coaching under an ex-national player so he is a qualified one. If u all want to know who the ex-national player is, i will have to him first.
As for the fee... those who are interested can contact him to negotiate wif him coz he is the boss.
He's also been giving training in Cheras area for 3 years even up to now. If u wish to know where, talk to him directly.
Coaching areas include Serdang, Seri Kembangan, Taming Jaya, Tmn. Connaught, Sg. Long etc.
If u want to know more about this coach, feel free to contact him/pm me or just post it here. Thanks.

samlikebadminto--my coach was an ex national junior and went for first and second level coaching certificate under Rashid Sidek in BAM.as for nw he is waiting for the third level.so i think if u learn to coach from a badminton player is different.not all professional badminton player can coach.
