    Um, this is akin to asking:
    "I'm looking to buy some fast cars... the red ones.
    Where can I get the cheapest ones?"

    At the very least, you need to flesh out your query with useful information.
    That could be a make or a model or a couple of reasons that led to your query.

    People here are willing to, and want to, help.
    But they can't unless they know what help you need :eek:

    i believe those are codes that use long time ago
    the colour ring at the cock
    green = slow
    blue = average
    red = high speed
    nowadays, we use the term of 75, 76, 77, 78 etc....
    :)

    i did not realise that.... i thought it was simply done in colours.

    i would not know what number we need.
    I would like the fastest and the cheapest...! Make/Model does not matter....!
    The reason is that we have run out of the 'red' shuttlecocks and it's my turn to buy! (hence why i want the cheapest! ;) )

    cheers

    "i thought it was simply done in colours."....
    azn 123 is correct - i was under the misapprehension that colours determine the speed... So, can anyone advise?
    cheers

    Just select the highest number on the tube if you want the fastest. It can be 5,53 or 81 depending on which system is being used.

    Sorry for my ignorance but where is swindon? You might wanna check your local club pro shop maybe? Internet probably where most people buy their shuttle. There are few places that will give you discount on shipping if you buy a lot.

    Swindon, England. We definitley dont have a pro badminton shop! else id be out there! We have sports shops like JJB and they do not sell the faster shuttles. Is there not a main website people use?

    yes the main website here is www.centralsports.co.uk

    u can get all shuttles here.. but i would seriously advise against using plastic shuttles.. theyre not very good compared to feathers.. if you must use plastic, i would reccomend the yonex mavis 350. They come closest to performing like good feathers but still.. far off

    Speed 76 is too slow for England. A speed 78 looks to be a safe bet.

    Related to this. I just got some RSL tourney 1's. Ive bought them before and I like them. These ones seem slow. They have a 50 on the side.

    How does the number system work?
