    Men's Single's (Projection)

    TBA, waiting Qualifying results

To minimize manual jobs in Pick's calculation, we need new format of picking.
You just copied the scoring points of the matches which you want to be picked, fill PAW No. in the [ ] right side of 'NO.'.
Choose the player who thought will win by put the X sign in [ ] left side of player's name.
If you want to cancel/delete your old pick, just give X sign in [ ] right of "delete" word.

Note : please copy a row completely and set insert "off" in your keyboard when you write your picks.

    Example :

    In Hongkong Open 2007,
I will choose Xie X.F., Yip P.Y & T.Hidayat for my PAWs, so I write

    NO.[01] MT101: [X]Xingfang.Xie v [ ]C.Reid......(. 5 - 22 ) delete [ ]
    NO.[02] MT102: [ ]Min.Jie.Pai. v [X]Pui.Yin.Yip.( 15 - 7 .) delete [ ]
    NO.[03] MT119: [X]T.Hidayat... v [ ]Hong.Chen...(. 9 - 11 ) delete [ ]

then I want to delete my PAW01, I just write

    NO.[01] MT101: [X]Xingfang.Xie v [ ]C.Reid......(. 5 - 22 ) delete [X]

I want replace it with Lu Lan as my PAW01, so I write

    NO.[01] MT105: [X]Lan.Lu...... v [ ]S.C.Cheng...(. 7 - 14 ) delete [ ]

This will be very difficult because I barely know the players. We may see surprising results in this tournament.

A rare chance to get to know St. Petersburg and Gatchina? and all the new names. And a chance to query our Russian friend Dmitry on all things Russian.

I think I will PAW exactly as Dmitry for all the Russian names! So don't let Dmitry out of your sight! :D:D:D

Do you know anything about Ivan Susanin, Russian national hero of 17th century? It's one of the possible tactics for me now - lead the crowd to a crash, similar with what Rudy did last week...:D:eek:... for my teammates!:) Another possibility - paw as late as possible, a few minutes before the match starts.:p

Now in doubts what tactic to choose...:D
BTW, I don't know most of the players as well.:p

Yeah, it's a good idea: only 4.5 hours in airplane (one side), watch the matches, and back to home (another 4.5 hours in airplane)...:D And 500 Euro off... I need to think it over...:):D

It's Gatchina near St. Petersburg - one of the most beautiful cities (I mean St. Petersburg) in Europe, especially at this time of a year - "white nights". About 650 km Nord-West from Moscow.

Why is it called "white nights". This is not winter and the streets and trees are not covered in snow!

That name Gatchina - any connection with China?
I'm sure you've been to St. Petersburg in the west although I think you are residing in the east! :p

"White nights" means that it's not dark at night!

Gatchina has no connection with China, except that it is one of the "badminton city" in Russia.:)
