    Hello,

Can you recommend some reputable shops/ on line outlets that sell rackets to the UK? I'm a bit weary of ending up with a counterfeit.

I'm after a Yonex racket (either the AT900T or the Nano Speed 8000 depending on the price).

    Thanks
    Shakil :D

If you want an AT900T that's 3U, you'll have to order from stores that dont' sell UK code. Examples are shuttle-house, mybadmintonstore, wingeesports, etc.

What is th default racket weight fot the UK ones? Is it 4U or 2U?

Also is the AT900T actually £30 ($60) better than the NS8000?

Also can someone explain the difference between Yonex rackets that end with JP or SP or IP. The JP ones seem to cost more.

The reason why JP rackets are more expensive than SP and IP is probably the quality of the racket.

Is that better quality from a durability or weight or other perspective?

Meant £30 difference in price between AT900T and NS8000. AT900T is selling around £120 vs £90 for NS8000.

Durability is higher, the weight should be the same and it may perform better.

From those prices if you buy online you can save quite a bit of money.

Apparently Cramps Sports UK is not a bad online shop. I have bought a discount Carlton racket from them and seems like the communication and the p&p are pretty good.

    Wingee Sports

    Thanks for all the suggestions:).

I've tried all the sites recommended and the cheapest site for a fully strung Yonex AT900T including delivery + P&P + Paypal fees is Wingee Sports. Cost £92 saving me almost £30 compared to all the UK based sites:D.

PS BBesports was the next cheapest (save on the great US excange rate at the moment!) at around £95.

The rest were pretty much £120.

Have you ordered the racket from them? Yet?

The trouble of buying from overseas is that, you may have to pay custom and VAT. I would say most of the time, things will just slip pass the UK custom(if they are busy). I got caught three times for ordering stuffs from the US and HK. Two of them were OK as I ordered something that you cannot find anywhere else, but there was one occation which I end up paying 20quids more for something which only cost 30quids (so 50+ pounds in total). The UK custom has this stupid adminstrative handling fee which is around 11.5pounds, custom VAT is probably a few pounds only. So be prepare if you receive a letter from the postoffice instead of your racket from Hong Kong.
