    Greetings,

Just now, I had a look at our Badminton Central Forums Statistics
    Threads: 51,269
    Posts: 903,960
    Members: 32,557

It looks like Badminton Central would get its 1,000,000th post during the Beijing Olympics 2008. :D:D:D

Would kwun and/or our moderators be able to identify who is our member making the 1,000,000th post at Badminton Central?

    Cheers... chris@ccc

I asked this question before, and here's the conclusion/answer

Avatars and Sigs just make the forum's structure cluttered, and they distract the users from the main topic too. Some members may also have avatars or sigs which may 'offend' other members too.

Avatars and sigs are also images, and they can slow-down the loading-speed of the pages.. BC is the fastest forum I've ever been a member of, because there are basicly no images such as Avatars and Sigs. There can be images here and there, such as the photos of someone's equipments, but they're on-topic so they're not a problem.

What else what else.. avatars and sigs may also require the members to upload the images onto the forum's server, which will just make the site slower again..

Just go to any other random forum, and there will be an advertisement or a pop-up saying that "YOU'RE THE 1000,000th VISIOR!! CLICK HERE NOW TO CLAIM YOUR PRIZE"
    Lol

A free BC t-shirt for the member who makes the 1,000,000th post

    .
:D:D:D Hahaha... If kwun were to give a free BC t-shirt for the member who makes the 1,000,000th post, that t-shirt could be won even before the OG 2008. :D:D:D

    Let's await what kwun thinks.

    What an interesting idea.
Would a sponsor be willing to donate a prize? It would certainly be good advertising for them if all __, 000 BC members saw that Company X was kind enough to donate a racquet or gift certificate.

Yes, some you guys spent a good part of your lives creating and maintaining this site/forum so that we can have a whale of time discussing and reading about our faviourite sport. [IMG][IMG]

For this, we are eternally grateful.

Any plans on how to celebrate the 10th anniversary of BC/BF this Christmas eve?
