    YONEX Super Grap (AC102EX) received the best score in the German "Tennismagazin", July issue.

    The testers of Tennismagazin evaluated each product by Feeling, Absorption of sweat and Durability. Among 11 products from different manufacturers. All the testers were very interested in this YONEX Super Grap .
    Super Grap won the best score with following comments;

    "Its durability is the most excellent among the 11 overgrips."
    "It is easy to wrap and feeling itself is also perfect."
    "Absorbency is good from the beginning and lasts longer."
    "Price is also very reasonable."

    Does anyone have a copy of the above German Tennis magazine? Would like to know which 11 products were tested.

    From what i know, Yonex AC102 are good but not the best overgrip.

    Actually, there's 1 question bothers me for quite a while now. Tennis rally contains much less # of strokes than badminton rally. Therefore, can a result from tennis users actually reflect badminton player's need, with more strokes within short period of time? :rolleyes:

    I can tell you the white one is the best in every category for the Yonex AC102ex super grap. However, best? I will say depend on what you test on. IMHO, there are better over grip than YY AC102 out there. However, the price is much more. The marketing news from the evil empire? I would put a discount on it. I would say white AC102 is good in every categories and it might be very good overall. However, it is not the best in every category. It is very good for the performance to price ratio that I would say...

    Talking about the white Yonex AC102ex, somehow i feel the ones from the 30-pack are thinner and more slippery than the ones from the 3 pack. :rolleyes:

    i have to agree with lazybuddy ... i bought the 30 pack .. and it's nice when it's new but after 3 game ... it's totaly useless other thant that i have to use 2 grap on a racket to get some sort of grip feel.

    Also the white grips tend to look much dirtier because of sweat and the white colour shows all of it compared to other colours such as black.

    Thanks to Master Kelvin who sent me a few samples of Gamma Supreme Overgrip, I have since changed over and so has everyone in my club who uses synthetic. It is MUCH more durable. Even when my grip is black and ripping, it's still fairly soft. Yonex Supergrap would feel like hockey tape by then.

    Yonex overgrap feels a lot like wilson pro overgrip when new. After a few sessions you will immediately see the differences. Wilson pro is much more durable and lasts at least 3x longer, if not more. Additionally there is a difference in colors for wilson pro grip and probably others. The store manager at a local tennis shop explained to me that wilson pro never released in colors because the formula was compromised.

    LazyBuddy is correct when he says tennis and badminton are different. In tennis a lot of times you can hit with 2 hands vs one. You also have a bigger contact area with the larger handle. So basically the surface area exposed to either contact the hand or to open air is much different. A lot of the grips which are good for tennis are good for badminton. The top two grips Im reccomended are usually wilson pro and gamma supreme, both great in my opinion.

    I do agree the AC102 is the best grip so far that i have used. The problem is that i have to change them frequently. Which is good for hygiene and also for feel purposes. The price is not that expensive.

    have tried Yonex 102EX, Wilson X-tra tack, Gamma Supreme, and Dunlop (forgot the model). for me, Gamma Supreme is the best, then followed by Wilson X-tra tack, and then Yonex 102EX. to me, Yonex one is too soft, and loose tackiness too quickly.
