Someone should translate the article:
The metal part of the racket break away from the handle when smash...
And the bottom part fly like a spear and poke into the forehead between the eyes!

SO the handle is not intact? Another point is why is that picture taken in a home, why no blood, why lack of shadows from flash, what's he doing with his right arm over his head.
It is conceivable that it has gone through the eye. I seen something like that once before. A guy fell over in a market and on to the bamboo stick coming up from the ground. Neurosurgeons took 4 or 5 hours to remove the stick which had gone through the eye socket and into the brain. It had gone through the connections between the left and right part of the brain.

Obviously fake:
- The shadow is impossible: it's completely flat, unaffected by the shape of the objects behind it.
- You can see the handle (the racket is supposed to be broken off at the shaft, right?).

Also if you look at the handle there is no grip as well.

it's fake. the racket is propped up in his eye like a national flag. if it was real, doctors would first take it out and don't leave it like that.

No, they wouldn't take it out immediately. But probably a few hours later after the tests have been done.
The other thing about it faked is that it is going straight up into the air. That sort of angle would be creating a lot of pressure within. I'm sure it would have been better lying on the side.

Well, it might be real. It came out in Singapore's lian he wan bao today. (Singapore's chinese newspaper.)

Yeah? Did that paper also say badminton was going to be left out of the Olympics which was first reported on the 1st of April...?

Probably it didn't but that's just to show how even some 'authorities' get it wrong.
Even rare tigers get fake sightings
and trains going through unspoilt China with wild animals grazing near by unfazed by the noise.
