Hi im looking for a new racket to replace my yonex B460, ive used this ever since i started to play badminton I'm a intermediate player I play nearly everyday im a smasher but i also do net play aswell i need a racket that can help me do a better backhand clear i need a racket that is ok durability but awesome performance i dont really have a budget Thanks
No offense, but almost any racket is better than B460, which is a fairly low end racket. Also, net play and backhand has more to do with technique rather than racket. If you are tight on budget, I will say any mid-range all graphite racket (including non-Yonex) is an upgrade compare to B460. If $$$ is not an issue, all around racket such as At900T, AT800DE, MP99, Cab30ms, SOTX Woven 8 can all be valid candidates.
AT700 is a bit extreme, but compare to B460, it's still light enough. However, unless you are very sure about your preference, AT700 is a bit too expensive and extreme to begin with.
I thought at700 too me was cheap and i think i can handle it but y does everyone say its hard to handle??? i was thinking of getting the limited edtiton one aswell
Whether it's hard to handle (stiff and head heavy), it's relative speaking to different ones. If you are confident and really want to take a try, try to demo it before purchase, if possible.
Jumping from a cheap metal racket to a high-end racket is not a good idea. You should try to get a mid range racket first then go from there.
i borrowed a racket from my aunt a Kawasaki Tour 103 Power its an all graphite racket i used it for like a month or so but i didnt really suit my play style as it was too light for me and im so used to the head heavy b460
In Colchester here there's only one badminton shop that has a variety of selection but i dont think they do the a demo service and im only 15 so i cant really buy from the net so any ideas
You can also buy online if you want because it will be cheaper. You can read DinkAlot's racket review to get an idea. DinkALot's Racket Review If you want Yonex then try AT300 or AT500 If you want SOTX then go with W2, W7 or W11
ok i think itd be easier for me if i get someone to go to mybadmintonstore tomorow anyway thanks for the the help nd i just want to ask if I can actually use at700?
You will find it hard because you are jumping from a metal racket to a high-end racket but you shouldn't have much problems since you are an intermediate level player.
ok i think ill go with the at700 limited edition for now if i dont like it ill just get another racket thanks for the advice
The cheapest place to buy AT700LTD is from Mybadlookbad but they are currently out of stock. You can also buy it on ebay here http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-YONEX-ARMOR...yZ106460QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/YONEX-ARMORTEC-...Q2em118Q2el1247QQ_trksidZp1638Q2em118Q2el1247
