BG65Ti also has a hard feeling but it doesn't have vectran in it so it is hard to explain why BG65Ti has a hard feel. Does anybody know why BG65Ti has a hard feeling?

Abou the string, BG-80 would be tighter than NGB95 because BG-80 is 0.68mm, while NGB95 is 0.69mm. NGB98 kicks NGB95!!
The only thing NBG98 doesn't kick NBG95 in is the price and durability. Everything else NBG98 kicks it by far.

I was just playing today with my AT900T which has NBG95 at 24Lbs and it felt really good. Great feel on the shot and plenty of power, It seems to have taken a while to get this feel from the racket, it felt sort of just numb all together in the beginning.

it looks like i will try out this new NGB98 though with the AT800D, is the N98 stiffer string so shall i go for 23 Lbs to compensate or stay at 24?

You can string the NBG98 at the same tension as NBG95.

Yup I guess so considering the price is the same comparing the two.

Surely NBG98 has got good durability anyway. I know NBG95 has very good durability because i have used it for 6 months now and no signs of wear at all. But it did feel numb when i first got it. I get plenty of power with my NBG95 at 24 Lbs so for the same tension the NBG98 should have slightly more power, but essentially anything as good as the NBG95 that i have will do fine as this is not an out and out smashers racket.

By feel, is it the same as performance? Feeling I hit fast is different than hitting fast.

I'm currently using BG85 @22lbs, does that mean to get the equivalent performance I'd have to go 24lbs-25lbs with strings?

    Thanks.

BG80 and BG85 have to be strung 2lbs under normal tension to get the same performance and feel.
