    does look like a hoax to me ;) but the man eating snake just made me lose my appetite >_>...but i always knew snakes could never eat a whole human being...

    It has happened here in malaysia in the 1990's as it was published in the main news papers here. The phyton managed to swallow half of the skinny rubber tapper in the forest.
    Who know's maybe in the deeper parts of our malaysian jungles(most probably at borneo) it has happened as sightings of huge snakes and reptiles have been seen there.

    wow..... you can still remember :)
    it swallowed till end of his shoulder. as the shoulder bone is side and unable crush by the python. it happened at Tenang, Segamat. a small town.

    there is a legend, at Tasik Chini, Pahang.
    the python is believed to achieve 1m in diameter.
    i do believe it is true, based on my good friend's experience in Sarawak, East Malaysia. during his army training......;)
