Hi Everyone, New to these forums and from Australia. I basically need a new raquet as I have just broken my muscle power 99. It had a little chip in it and went to smash and snapped the whole frame. Previously I was using a prince raquet and that broke as well when I went to smash it and buckled the frame. I get pretty pissed when I play badminton and just like to smash the absolute crap out of the shuttle everytime. So to cut the crap whats the best raquet I can get so I can smash more powerful? Price isnt an issue My gfs father is in Singapore atm so I need to give him a model to bring back to australia. Cheers for all your help
Here are some suggestions. AT700, AT900P, AT700LTD, Ti10, MP100, ARC10 and if not yonex, you could look at the SOTX range of racquets such as the Woven7, Woven11 and Woven16. Ask him to buy you some strings as well, because they are cheaper in singapore than in australia, and i'm sure that there's a better variety of them as well. BG80, BG85, BG66, etc..
You can try these Yonex: Old Ti-10, NS9000X, MP100, AT700, AT900P SOTX: Woven 4, Woven 7, Woven 11 RSL: X2 Gold, X2 Blue
AT700, AT900P, NS9000X (If you're good enough), MP100, SOTX woven 7/diamond fighter 600/Woven 11. Yonex is easiest to find. If you're getting the AT series, get 3U, more powerful and heavy.
Sorry, my fault. It is very hard to find Cab30MS in Australia. Scrap the Cab30ms unless you want to buy from me.
I think this is still available in OZ. Pray you will not start a business in Australia. You will hear a lot of this on your business. It's your karma.
The only cab series rackets in Australia i can find is CAB10 and CAB8 No no i will never start a badminton business in Australia because i have better things to do such as play badminton
Try AT700 or AT900P the Arc10 is not as powerful as either of those two. Ti-10 is also great. The first or second gen.
Hey everyone thanks for your response. I decided to go get both the Armotec 900Power (3U) and the Nanospeed 9000X (2U). If I load both of these raquets with BG80 strings what tension do you reckon I should ask for?
Hang on if he's going to smash the racket then he should just buy several cheaper power rackets. Order a bunch of apacs models which are excellent for power and only cost about 20-25 pounds each. You could have 5 apacs for 1 arc saber 10. My most powerful racket is NS9000X because it is the most powerful racket in the world until this new Arcsaber 10 came out. I'm not convinced Arcsaber 10 is more powerful anyway. String it at 24 lbs with nanogy 95 or 98. This will last pretty damn long no matter how hard you smash.
I agree, just because ARC10 is newer doesn't meant it is more powerful. People think that a newer racket means it is more powerful.
really? IMO the most powerful racket is the AT700 LTD I own a NS9kX...not a huge fan of it. if he is going for the fastest smash possible, i'd suggest BG85 @ 25+ lbs. AT700 LTD + BG85 @ 25+ lbs = racket on steroids
IMO, AT700LTD + NBG98 @ 25+lbs = another racquet on steroids. Too bad, nbg98's very hard to find. The best way to get them is to purchase them from Japan.
