    1) good to know your friend is dishing in the money for badminton mat.
    2) hardwood floor will work as almost as good as the official mat.
    3) contact www.ibuysports.com for sotx info. he is a distributor in us.
    4) if you really want 10 from yonex, pm me and i will see what i can do to help.

thanks for the replies guys. i am thinking toward getting mats and/or the plastic floor like SGVBC has. i dont know how much differece is between the yonex mats and the other brands such as sotx. i have played on yonex mats many times and i think its very good, but if others are almost as good, i will be more than happy to save that few thousand extra. let me know if you guys have any ideas, thanks

So far I haven't seen a badminton court in Dallas which has no multiple lines (combined with basketball and or volleyball lines) -- correct me if I'm wrong. It'll be great to have one.
Where in Dallas will it be? When is it estimated to be open? How much is the membership fee going to be?
If saving few thousand extra can lower the membership fee, go for it :)
