Last month i broke my ti-10 yellow n white which is not yet 2 mths old from day of purchase, my 21st birthday present from parents:crying:. Now i'm quite concern with the durability of yonex rackets especially ti-10 yellow n white which has lousy paintjobs, chips exposed to danger. i tried ti-10 purple but dun like the feel bcoz of the stiffer shaft tat sacrifice smashes. So, any1 can recommend a racket (can be other brands) tat can replace ti-10 yellow n white but has the same feel in smashes n control? Thx in advanced
Sorry tat i forgot to mention tat i prefer lighter racket (ti10 is lighter compare to other yonex rackets, duno bout other brand) and mayb slightly head heavy (is ti-10 white yellow head heavy?). is SOTX woven 11 light? i mean like good for pushing the shuttle?
hai... go to get a few apacs !!!! edge saber 10 and the nano 900 power those are cheap and good racket super cheap in malaysia somemore
Going with a little racket isn't a good idea if you want want smash. Just go with SOTX Woven 7 or Woven 11.
Neither W11 ot Ti-10 are considered light rackets! W11 is definitively good for pushing the shuttle /T
rsl x2-ap I find similiar to ti-10 , rsl make top quality stuff so a good choice. Unless you get a very light w7 that and the w11 are not comparable in manuverability to the 3u ti-10. The 7490 is also nice and has better d and a tick less power. If you like rackets about the 86g mark, they are definitely winners.
TC700 is of course the best racket in the world .. But I suggested W11, as i Think it is more similar to the Ti-10.. Also I think W11 may be easier for him to find, Mizuno rackets are only sold in Japan and China to my knowledge.. /Twobeer
http://www.apacscanada.com/product_info.php/products_id/69 this is the picture from official canada webapage http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55933 this tell you where to get it in malaysia for around rm90 or more depend on what string you are going to use. but overall rm90 for a racket is damn cheap and it does performance http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=57741 This is nano 900 power white ( for picture only ) http://www.apacscanada.com/product_info.php/cPath/21_28/products_id/41 you can get it at the same shop in Malaysia for around rm100 too a more powerful racket. i can't tell you that is identical to Ti10 but they are very good racket for the value and it's should be able to take over the job of ti10 until yonex come up with some new racket.
well, i never seen rsl n woven racket in malaysia yet, not sure whether it's sold here. hope tat can find a racket tat delivers the same 'feel' like the ti-10. rm420 broke within 2mths, i cant take tis too many times.
RSL and SOTX have equal or better durability than Yonex so breaking a racket may be harder with RSL or SOTX.
so what is wrong trying out apacs they are rm200 for 2 racket that might be more playable than the TI10. sometime you just have a leap of faint and try something else.
the broken ti-10 looked like a fake at 1st bcoz of some lousy paintjob at the shaft and frame. the words on the shaft moved slightly to the left and the word 'titanium' on the frame was not printed clearly. i posted the shaft n cone no. to tis forum and is informed it is legitimate, mayb it is rejected racket, who knows if i got cheated? haih~ my fren has 1 apacs nano 900 power, will test it when he string it. btw, hopefully u all not angry tat i ask a question which is out of the topic here, ask on behalf of my fren, does ti-10 purple hav JP version?
