I personally think they have great chances in MD....their pair rank world no. 1 and have always play well in big tournament.......,....XD....also rank world no. 1.......won World Chompionship two times......and Their defending champion of MS.......TH....... INA have great chance to fight for these three golds........... What you think...?

IF, a big IF...WD INA can upset Yang wei/Zhang Ji wen, then medal is possible...not necessary gold.....any color of medal in this category will be good.... INA's big hope is on XD and MD....anyway...I will be happy if INA can mange 1 gold medal first..
MD is any pair's game. Hence it's very difficult to predict. But I believe, they have a good chance. Just hoping that they won't crumble away...

Aah, thank you for supporting our XD. Yes, I know it's an uphill task in MS and MD, but I'm still sure our shuttlers have the chance. No 3 gold for China? Then I'd vote for Yao Ming or even Jet Li to replace Li YB.
hahaha, interesting, i think 1 gold is definitely possible, i'd rate XD above MD, as most here have suggested. MD is tricky, with CHN, INA, MAS and KOR all having quite a good chance, i wouldn't dare bet on anyone in this event. MS, well, not impossible, but improbable. i can't see anyone beating both LD and LCW, barring any injuries/disqualifications etc ...

Here is my 5 pennyworth from an unbiased line judge who saw the INA teams very close up at the TUC in May. MS Taufik will have to play an awful lot better than in May. No one else has a chance. WS Sadly no chance MD Possible but I doubt it. WD Would love to see Polli and partner win but I don't think so. XD Definite possibilities
if it were up to me the medals for these olympics would be MS taufik hidayat to be the first man to win 2 olympic ms titles WS maria kristin to take one of the medals and tine rasmussen to win gold MD kido n setiawan WD lilyana n vita XD nova n lilyana sadly thats not realistic heheh. from my objective point of view i think: MS LCW in good form right now WS one of the chinese girls or tine rasmussen MD lee / jung WD yang/ zhang XD nova / lilyana heheh. so only one realistic gold medal chance.. but i really hope taufik can pull out an upset win.. he can if he really wanted to.
Realistic target is 1 gold as targeted by PBSI, 2 golds chance is possible to be realized but 3 golds, hmm it's hard to imagine... One fact for sure that INA becomes the only country that always bag bdm gold so far since bdm Olympic first debut at Barcelona 1992.
