Im just wondering how tall you guys are and if your height affects your game.
I think tall players are better at attacking (Smashers) and short player are better at defence(Dont have to bend down to get low shots).

Taller people can reach further but can't defend well when the shuttlecock is hit at their body while short people can't reach as far but can defend well if the shuttlecock is hit at their body.

I've been 5'11/6 since I was 12. Even though I'm not that tall, I do agree that I'm weak against body-shots.

I am 5'4. Of course I am still in my growing mode, but I wish to get taller much faster. I can't smash steeply from the baseline without jumping. =(
And how I wish I could dunk when playing basketball..

I am 6'5" here. The height is both an advantage and disadvantage.

A little tall for someone who is Indonesian/Chinese in background.

im about 5'10", theres one great thing about shorter like short players they have a lower center of gravity and they are able to move really fast around the court if they have great leg strength, footwork and explosiveness. but yes it can be disadvantagous to them as well.

I'm a litle over 6 feet tall.(185 cm) As mentioned before it is harder for tall people to defend against shots that are very close to the body. I also find it harder to return smashes.
