    Hello,

I was wonder which of these two rackets (technically 3) are more suitable for overall defensive and offensive players? I am purchasing a racket for my friend but she's neither a defensive or offensive player, she is more the balance type. I understand that both ArcSaber 10 and AT-900 P/S are around the same price, but I do not wish to choose the wrong racket for her.

If you can, please provide some help with me choosing the right racket.

    Thank you all.

There is no AT-900 S.. It's T.. Well, I'd have to say that from all the reviews, the aerodynamic frame of the Technique along with its head-heaviness, though maybe not felt as much due to the swiftness of the racket, that it would be the most balanced.

NS9000S seems like a better choice for an all around female player than any of those racquets. ARC7 is also a good choice, but more on the defensive side. If you HAVE to pick one of those racquets, AT900T is the easiest to use and most balanced.

Go with SOTX Woven 8. Since you are in Canada you can buy SOTX rackets from ibuysports which has free shipping to Canada and USA.

Yes, you are correct. It should've been T for Technique. I was thinking in Japanese word which means Skill.

Agree with Athelete, why don't you consider Nanospeed?

If there are only 3 options, I will choose 900T

    1) Are you buying?
    2) Any other motive?
    3) Is she good looking?

If yes on all 3, get ARC7 or NS8000. If it has to be the 3 you mentioned, AT900t.

Out of these rackets I find that the AT 900P only benefits my smashes and ruins the rest of my game, the ArcSaber 10 while a swift racket was not as enjoyable at the net, and the AT 900T is easy to use at the net while still giving a great smash and defensive shot. For me it's alot easier to do everything (smash included) with a lighter racket but thats just me and everyones preference is different so heres a simple solution: ask the girl which racket she likes best. I know some players who love the net but for some reason that constantly escapes me use only AT 700. Bottom line: the best racket for her is the one that feels best in her hand.

    cant stop.............

however, another good advice from grandmaster SH.
not necessary top end rackets will do the work.

She is in a school team and she has both ArcSaber 7 and NS8000, but she's in budget and always wanted to get a top-end racket. So she marked the choices between AT-900 P/T and ArcSaber.

Personally, from a fashion perspective, I think ArcSaber is so red. It looks very obvious that it is an ArcSaber 10 from afar. AT-900 series are more, how do you say, hidden, because of the darker colouring. Technology wise, I am not familiar with both series.

And yes, I did suggest AT-900 T to her and she seems to like it. I believe she will prefer AT-900 T than the other two.

Thank you all for your replies!~

PS to silentheart: No other motive, maybe some, but I cannot think of any. She's good looking?... I....cannot comment on that....

Let me know when you are ready to buy one for her. I will cut you a good deal on AT900t. May be a ARC10 too... Hell, I will throw in a AT900p deal too. Man, she is better worth it...

NS9000S is the all-rounder racket so if you are into yonex rackets then that is the racket you want.
