    Hi everyone.

Noob to this site. I'm thinking of going back to Badminton as a sport again. The problem is not sure where or how to start. I live in Edmonds, WA area and reading some of the post, seems like UW is a perfect place to start even though I would like to drive to Bellevue Club, but with Gas that's super expensive right now, that's not much a choice for now.

So can anyone, help me with advise on how to start, who to contact, etc, etc? Thought? Many thanks everyone and I'm so looking forward to going back to play the game I loved.

Just do a search on this thread for "Seattle". You will get plenty of hits. Too many for me to list here, in fact :)

A few years ago, I had played in the Meadowbrook Community Center/Nathan Hale High School and it was quite active with many level of players. It is in the Lake City area. I'm not sure how active they are now though. You may contact them first.

I think Shoreline Community Center Spartan Gym may have badminton
drop in there (not listed on the above page), call the center
and find out, if they do, it'll be closest to where you live.
