    Default Tribute to WMC

I take my hat off to WMC. She gave 110% and she gave it her all. I am proud of her, medal or no medal. She is a model professional and what all aspiring shuttlers ought to be.

She gave Lu Lan the jitters. And had it gone to a rubber, maybe WMC ...

Anyway, great badminton WMC, I salute you.

Had Wong Mew Choo met and lost to Xie Xingfang instead, Lee Chong Wei would have had more reason to be all fired up against Lin Dan

Lu Lan played a remarkably magical opening game.
Wong Mew Choo played a determined second game.

    Finally, consistency won

Bravo WMC. What a gutsy display. We all so proud of you.......

I thoroughly enjoy all the women matches today...all are close nail biting matches and they all fought right to the end........

WMC gave a very good fight at the second set. She lost to herself more than her opponent. Lu Lan was so nervous too. Nevertheless Lu Lan played very well indeed. All praise to both players.

She had a mental breakdown in the second set. WMC was too eager. However Mew Choo gave her 200% in the game. She showed us her determination and the desire. However Lu Lan played very well. She deserve the win.
