Like amortec says, she is on BBC, and their coverage is for UK users only, so unless you in uk, you won't here from her in BJ

This has been bugging me for quite some time now.
What does Gail Emms shout during a game to signal Nathan to hit the shuttle?
It sounds like "gigi".
I hear Nathan shout "Emms".
But I hear Gail shout "gigi". Is that Nathan's nickname or something?

I have only heard her shout either "you", "yes" or "get it" you may be hearing the "get it".

I don't know if he has a nickname.

....I think she's trying to say go go....she just has a funny accent....
I'm going to miss her :-(
I spoke to her a while ago and she said the one thing she didn't want to do was coach.....which is a shame cos she'd probs be quite good....but she did say that she was interested in commentating, if so Gillian Clark should watch out!!!!

That would be cool. But like she said during an interview, her problem would be how to stop talking. LOL!

And then, when commentating, if she's really into the game, we'll just suddenly hear her shout "GIGI".

maybe she's just not cut out for it. i think it's fine for her to be a commentator, for as long as she doesn't leave the world of badminton.

Hmmmm....I can imagine her non stop talking through all of the really tense bits of matches, might be quite amusing LOL.....Especially if she shouts 'GIGI'!!!!
