I have been using my friends AT900T and I absolutely love it. Unfortunately I cannot buy one of my own because of my budget What would be some equivalents of the AT900T in other brands. Thank You in advance
awesome thank you but are there any from any other brands other than sotx? and if I were to get sotx where would be a good place to buy them? thanks in advance
There are a few RSL racket with the same performance as AT900T but with less maneuverability like the RSL X2 and X1 series.
If anyone could help me out that'd be awesome Just to rephrase the question What would give me the same performance as the Yonex Armortec 900 Technique? I don't care about the brand. Yonex is just too expensive for me at the moment. phandrew has been a wonderful help so far. I would just like to possibly get more options Thanks
Hi ScubaSteve, you can try look up Apacs Nano 900 Power/ Technique. The Apacs is the clonex for Yonex Armortec 900. Price is definitely cheaper than Yonex. Theer's a guy called racquet-sports on eBay that sells em. You can probably try and message him and see if he has the technique. But i've been told the Power is the same as Technique, correct me if i'm wrong. There's a thread on this forum somewhere about Apacs rackets. Hope that helps. Cheers.
Apacs Nano900(white) is a clone of AT900T so that is the best option if you want a cheap racket with the similar performance.
awesome guys thank you sorry to respond so late I went down to SoCal for a few days anyone else want to contribute? I think the list is good right now, but of cource it can always be bigger.
Your wealth doesn't determine which brand you play with. There are people here with money but go with SOTX and RSL instead of Yonex.
I was in an exact same situtation a couple of weeks ago. My friend recommended me to buy an AT 900T but i just couldnt afford it. ($1140 HKD) Then I went to a badmin store and that friendly shopkeeper suggested this alternative: Carlton Powerflo 807. Its price is only 40% of AT900T($490 HKD, actually i bought it at with 10% off, so it's $441 to be exact!!). I have been using it for weeks and am feeling good. Well, from my own experience, it really does have the AT900T feel and touch except that it does not give as solid shots as AT900T does. However, given such a price, it is still amazingly awesome. Besides my own experience, I did some research online about this racket compared to AT900T and found this article : http://sysadm.blog.51cto.com/180447/34151. If you cannot read Chinese, here is the summary of what the author says: Carlton powerflo 807 is all rounded, it feels almost like AT 700T but it gives less powerful smash. (pretty much the same with my experience.) Hope it helps. Good luck and dont forget to tell us your final decision!
