I think maybe not or maybe yes . Well for me it looks like the old AT700 since i can't see the gold colour on the racket frame. Maybe the white tape that he always used is covering the gold part. But I did see some white colour (maybe the white dragon) on the racket shaft. Hope there are BC members who were at beijing can clarify it?
There is no point making another thread for this because it has being discussed in another thread. It not a AT700LTD. It's just a AT700 with white tape on the frame.
True, no point in another thread. Anyway, in the final, it was definitely the AT700 LTD.No doubt about that. Been confirmed by Yonex officials. Also some people have enlarged the pictures and it is the genuine article. What people need to understand is that Someone like Lin Dan can have anything between 6 to 12 rackets in his bag. It is quite natural for him to have one or two of the old version. The final word is, case closed. He used the AT700 LTD.
THIS IS THE BIGGEST BULL **** I'VE EVER HEARD. EVEN A BLIND MAN can SEE that this is 200% not the AT 700 LTD.
Still willing to say he was using AT700LTD? Where's the yellow? Why is there yellow writing on the shaft? How come it's mostly black? Also, AT700 old has a black cone, LTD has a yellow cone. Definately the Old AT700 + white tape at the top. Solid proof too.
Owhh come on...it's just what he thinks. Blind man can't see anything...everyone knows that and its the biggest lame statement that i've ever heard...hahahaha
I said that he didn't use it every match! Which part of what I said do you not understand? Clearly in certain rounds he did use the old one! Also for those who watched the final, note how he threw his racket into the crowd. The lucky receiver turned out to be a knowledgeble badminton players. Guess what? AT700LTD!!!!
Learn to read mate! I don't want to say it again. He didn't use it every round! These pros all have dozens in their bags! Good example is Tadashi Ohtsuka when he played in the MD quarters against Korea. He uses the Arc 10 but switched from the red to the demo version in the 2nd set!
The old AT700 & the LTD has different charateristic... If I am Lin, I won't switch to a different racket on a match so important! Well, I am not Super Dan, so who knows...
I have watched every game of Lin DAN. From the first until last minute. And every time he serves the camera is focused on his racket. There is no AT 700 LTD at ALL. So if you pretend that he is using the LTD version so give us any provement?
Just to mention how Yonex is going to cheat their customer. Here is an announcement on germany YONEX homepage after LIN DAN has won the men single title. To see on www.yonex.de "...Ein glücklicher Zuschauer durfte sich nach seinem klaren Sieg gegen Lee Chong Wei über Lin Dans YONEX ArcSaber 10 freuen, den der Weltranglistenerste in die Zuschauermenge schleuderte..." It is said that LIN DAN is throwing his ARCSABER 10 into the crowd after his winning over Lee Chong Wei. This statement sounds very doubtful und just show us that the ARCSABER 10 hasn't find so many acceptance. Greet
That is all nice, but I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that he made a formal statement that he would not be switching. Anyway, if you are so convinced, then take a look at pictures 5, 6, 41, 56, 60, 61, 69, 74, and 75 in this slide show. But you know, the racket he threw into crowd was first tossed and left on the ground, so.. to be more conclusive, the most solid proof is picture 50, after he won. http://www.nbcolympics.com/badminton/photos/galleryid=228084.html
here is the thing: none of us saw him holding an AT700LTD in any match and here is the logic. Would a professional like LD who is so much after the Olympic gold medal, switch to a racket that he isn't familiar with, risking his lifetime hard works, for Yonex's little marketing fancy?
