Late bloomer definately. and maybe because china didn't have any rival to her. Despite this though, she still got picked in team throughout ZM,GZC,GRN,XXF,LL,ZL,JYJ,WL,WYH at different stages......There has to be someting said for mental strength and determination at the expense of pure talent, racket skills and Physical capacity.
And Desire. ZN has to have desire to keep working hard in training - Most players give up as they cannot face the grueling training day after day. ZN has done it in CHN team for 16 Years in 1st team

Yeah ... and good old Mark Spitz thought no one can ever erase his Olympic record.
And some years ago, no one would have imagined the men's 100m sprint ever going below 10secs. And Usain Bolt tip toed and showboat his way to a world and Olympic record of 9.62 seconds. Are we gonna bet that no one is gonna do that 100 meters below the 9 seconds mark???

I can only agree with point #1 and #2
I completely disagree with point #3, as all Malaysian sooner or later will be able to chant "Malaysia Boleh!!!" with pride after one of our shuttles win a medal (hopefully at least another silver) in London 2012.
Malaysia boleh!!! Believe it, you guys!!!
