I saw some online stores selling nanogy 98,but I can't find any info about this string at yonex.com,is this a fake product ? In addition,bg 80 is in high repulsion series or high hitting sound series ? The links below confused me : http://www.yonex.com/badminton/string/high_hitting_sound.html http://www.kaisengbadminton.com/bg85.html
You should try searching the forum. NBG98 is a JP string. http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=40366
I'm sorry,I want to ask about bg 85,not bg 80,please visit these links http://www.yonex.com/badminton/string/high_hitting_sound.html http://www.kaisengbadminton.com/bg85.html So bg 85 is in high repulsion series or high hitting sound series ? Can anyone please explain for me what are the differences between SP and JP string ?
High-sound series, but it's got higher repulsion than bg80 because of its thinner gauge. The difference is only the distribution codes, there's no difference in playability. There may be a difference in price however.
BG 85 has the best repulsion of all Yonex string but does not last very long...I play 9 hrs a week and it last me about 3 weeks....I also use a lot of slice so that wears out the string faster...
BG85 doesn't have the most repulsion. BG66 and BG80 have equal repulsion and NBG98 has the most repulsion out of all yonex strings.
I am not sure about the charts accuracy....on testing we found the best repulsion with 85....the charts show 66 with 8 in repulsion while the 80 and 85 show 9....NBG98 shows a 10...I still really think the 85 plays better and has more "PoP" So much depends on stringing tension and how good the stringer is....2 knot vs 4 knot also makes a difference in how well the string performs....NBG98 is virtually non-existent in Vietnam so the only testing we got to do was from a visitors racket....I would like to find a pack to test for myself...Thanks for the info that 98 is the highest repulsion...I did not know that...
If you excluded JP strings then BG66, BG80 and BG85 have equal repulsion bases on my experience. Don't base your ratings on yonex stats because they aren't true.
That has been my experience also...most Yonex stats are "flexible" ha ha ha.... BTW...I dont want to make a post but would like to know what you think of SOTX rackets??? We are thinking of becoming distributor...You can PM me if you like...Thanks
