What a great forum BC is... awesome!! Let me introduce myself. I live in Switzerland and have been a member of BC for the past 2 years. I started playing badminton after a gap of 10 years. When I started to play again I searched for some resources and found BC. From then on I have been going thru this forum now and then. With the help of you guys I was able to pick up my game and enjoying it. Few years back I would have never thought of starting badminton again if not for BC. Few months back I have bought my first stringing machine (pros pro shuttle express) and started stringing. Thanks a lot to kwun, dinkalot, petelsd, silentheart and all others. You would be thinking why I have surfaced now....I didnt have a choice. BC has become an addiction to me. Two weeks back I wasnt able to access BC and that surfaced me. Thanks to all BC members Jestin.
Welcomes to BF, Jestin! Happy stringing and hitting the birdie . BTW, I love Sulzer machines made in the Switzerland!
Thank you all. I searched for local machines here but found that I couldnt afford it. I bought the prospro from UK. Last week one of my flying clamps broke and I had to buy the yonex clamps here. 48 Franks for each!!! (but I love the yonex clamps, they are very good)
Welcome.. ..to BCBF, Jestin (Jestin)! Good to hear another member coming from the beautiful land of Switzerland! So, tell us more about baddy life in Swiss. What are the badminton places like in your area? How easy is it for you guys have access to badminton items (rackets, strings, shuttles, apparels etc.)? Any other stories to share, we'd love to hear? Anyway, enjoy your time & happy surfing here!
snow mountains n scenic lakes Hi greeting Jestin, Good to hear from a faraway BCmember. Do u have alots of venue for badminton? Glad to see that u are interested in badminton. Welcome to his forum. Lee
Hi ctjcad and notnimdab729.. thank you for the welcome. Yes we do have a lot of halls for badminton. Allmost all the schools halls have badminton courts. But these halls will have other courts ovelayed one above the other in different colours. You will get used to this after some time . We do also have a lot of courts available for hourly rent. Allmost all sport centres have tennis, badminton and squash courts. Interest in badminton is on the rise here. We do get badminton items in one or two shops but the options are limited. For more choices we need to go online or wait for the Swiss open
